Trebalas v The Trustee for C & S Nastas Family Trust<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mr Trebelas was employed by Beta Group from 17 November 2008 until his dismissal on 6 February 2011 for performance issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The matter did not settle at conciliation, and Mr Trebalas elected to pursue the claim to an arbitration hearing. AWNA represented Mr Trebalas at this hearing on 8 June 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 12 July 2011 Commissioner Gooleey handed down a decision stating that Mr Trebalas\u2019 dismissal was harsh, unjust or unfair, and ordered that Beta Group pay Mr Trebalas an amount of $3,420 as compensation for loss of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
